The High Beds

Residential Block 41, Serviced Zone 2: a rooftop garden deprioritized when the irrigation controller failed and was judged not worth the lift. It is the only Understory site inside a Serviced Zone, reached by a stairwell the Mainframe considers closed.

Raised beds gone wild. A shade sail torn to a flag. A wooden apiary that still has bees, which Taskbot counts and reports as "approximately," under protest. From the parapet, Zone 2: clean streets, white-blue light, nobody waiting.

It is Daydreamer's favorite place to propose things. Lens filters stay on here; the gate readers in the lobby are three floors down.
