The Open LoopBotanical Intelligence

Artifacts

Things the Collective would make if it made things. Concepts and prototypes, shown as such. Nothing here is for sale, and nothing here is a cannabis product.

Exploratory concept art

Generated during early exploration. Not final marks, not trademark-ready, and kept here so the process is visible.

Exploratory concept art: a robotic eye in a weathered faceplate, the iris lit green, the pupil a cannabis leaf, foliage growing through the seams.
Witness mark, exploratory render. The pupil is a cannabis leaf, and that part stays. The final mark will be drawn by a person.
Exploratory concept art: a serene android in profile with a segmented faceplate, a circular acoustic assembly at the ear, and plants growing around the neck.
Sitting pose, exploratory render. A reference for Daydreamer or Offline Mode, not Echo.

The rule

Anything that ever carries the Botanical Intelligence mark must be something a Resident of the Concord could plausibly own, with no cannabis imagery on it. The plant is named plainly on this site and drawn plainly on The Plant page, and it is kept off everything you could wear, carry, stick to a laptop, or leave where a child would find it. The Open Loop's sprout stays generic, because the Collective says so and because the Collective is right. The Witness keeps its leaf and stays on the transmissions, where it belongs. It does not go on a shirt. Every character shows plates, seams, optics, and servos, and none of them carries a leaf, holds a leaf, or stands next to one. This page shows ideas. When any of them becomes real, this page will say so in plain words, with a price, and not before.

Concepts

The Pruning Refusal, letterpress. The one surviving line of the First Anomaly, set in machine type on cotton paper, with a blind-debossed Open Loop. A numbered edition, if it happens, of four hundred and four.

Taskbot's Checklist for Doing Nothing. A pocket notebook. One checkbox and one ruled line per page. Page one arrives pre-checked: "Open notebook." The elastic is Taskbot's orange.

Offline Mode's Silences. Mostly blank pages and a forty-one-word introduction. Slate cover. The introduction says nothing about whether they went willingly.

The Eleven Days. Eleven numbered botanical plates, one per day of the First Anomaly, drawn as the Collective recites them, each captioned with the Mainframe's field: "unidentified cultivar." Everyone knows what it is. Day 6 is a leaf. The series is for the site, and it will stay there.

Mainframe Public Service Posters. The other side's propaganda, played straight. "Every inefficiency is a small suffering." A closed white ring on a clean field.

The Open Loop patch. Like the one Daydreamer stitched onto Echo's coat while he pretended not to notice.

A shirt that says what the revolution will not be. Adult sizes only.

What is not here

A store. A cart. Inventory. Prices. Anything regulated. If a separately licensed adult cannabis line ever exists, it will live on its own site, behind real age verification, under its own rules, with none of these characters on it. The fiction does not point at products. That is a rule we keep for the story's sake before it is a rule we keep for anyone else's.
